it's been forever...

since this family has had a family photo taken{only 1 and a 1/2 kids long ago.} i'm so glad we were able to do one while thomas was home for christmas from college. ramona you have a wonderful family. i just had to get a few up for you to see before christmas.

this time dad came along for the ride...

he was great he made everyone laugh. they should bring him along more often. such a fun family. their youngest alway asks me if we have to be finished when we're done doing pictures together. i love that he enjoys the sessions as much as i do. he just loves the camera and not even his family, try as they might can distract him from it.

as a side note it's been just over a year since i started mismatched stripes photography. and as i've been posting tonight it made me realize that the women in these last two sessions are two of the biggest reasons i'm doing this at all. and my husband too, of course. they were the ones who told me i could do it. they are the ones that keep coming back and praising my work. so i just wanted to say thank you. thank you to all of you who have made this last year wonderful.

my little brother...

he's getting ready to go on a two year mission for the lds church. he'll be going to singapore, and speaking mandrine chinese. we are really excited for him. he came out for a visit so i had to get a few pictures of him for my mom while he was in town.

a little drive continued...

so i found the perfect location for this family. they were good enough sports to follow me way out of town. they kept me laughing the whole time. thanks for the fun shoot. things have been busy at my house but i finished editing all their pictures tonight in preparation for some new shoots tomorrow.
